So excited to find Frank’s! We moved here three years ago after living for more than 20 years in New Jersey and NYC. This is truly authentic New York style pizza. We felt like we were back home. Zio’s is okay but it’s not Frank’s and it’s not New York. This will be the only place we go for pizza in Onaha. Loved the cheese pizza especially ?

Pudgy’s Pizzeria at 168th and Harrison has the closest thing to deep dish around here that we’ve found. We have not tried the pie or reviewed them yet. But from what others have said, it is the best deep dish around these parts.

Wow! Zio’s is garbage. Frank’s blows them away. I lived in Philly and grew up in the Ponocos. Zio’s is horrible. Frank’s is the real deal.

OH my gosh..You have to eat here! We’ve tried almost all the pizzas that they have and they are amazing. Oh and try the spaghetti with red meat sauce. Its the best I’ve ever had!

I agree with you on the chewy yucky crust. I’ll tell you the crust isn’t much better at the shop. The fries are soggy also. However order the appitizer sampler and the wings are awsome.

Hi, I’m a server at Zio’s. (writing of my own accord and not under direction of managment) Thanks for the good review.
I have to admit, I’d prefer the floor TV to be placed somewhere else.. but having worked mostly in family-oriented establishments, I’ve dealt with worse. My remedy is to get dough and crayons to the table, ASAP, to keep the kids distracted and in a safer location.
In regards to the comment about the crust: I have some good news. We were training some new back of house workers at the time this review was written. During that time, we had a few soggy crusts on their shift, but they’ve since become as expert as our other cooks, and the crust is fantastic. (I eat veggie slices often, so that’s an important one for me)

We didn’t like Dante’s. The food was slightly above average, the prices were high, and the service was absolutely horrible. I would not go back there again.

We ate at Mama’s after doing some research and seeing all the rave reviews and were less than impressed. The pizza was mediochre and the onion rings (which have received rave reviews) were barely warm. We should have dived right in when we retrieved them instead of letting them “cool down” a couple minutes! Guess that’s why there are so many pizza joints serving so many different types of pizza – to each their own!
